It is our pleasure to invite you to participate at the International Festival “Stories of the DanubeRiver
–European Myths”. The
festival will take place as in the following regulations. We will provide
accomodation in student hostel and meals in our cantina.
Please
take notice of a last change: maximum number of participants is 12 with 2
adults. Ariving date: May 20, 2010.
REGULATIONS
Art.1
This festival is intended for
children of all secondary grades.
Art. 2
National Children’s Palace is organizing the festival during May 20 – 23, which will take place in Bucharest,
Bd.

There
are three different sections, with a maximum of 10 entries each. Looking for
artistic quality and originality, an initial selection based on application documents
will apply. Only the short-listed applications will be notified for the final
round.

There are three sections open during the four
days of the festival:
Section I, grades 1st–
4th , 2010, May 20
Section II, grades 5th–
9th , 2010, May 21
Section III, high
school, 2010, May 22

National al CopiilorBucureşti before 2010, April 16.
Art. 6
The jury is composed of the most
distinguished cultural personalities.
Art. 7
Time limit for each program:
·10 minutes maximum for Section I and Section
II;
·20 minutes maximum for Section III;
This is a disqualification
request.
Art. 8
Specific costumes and scene
material will be provided by each formation. Scene sonorisation, technicians,
lights and support are provided by Palatul National
al CopiilorBucureşti. Accompanied
pre-recorded music should be on Audio CD format, not MP3. Each team should assign a sound assistant to announce
each musical moment during the show and also a lights assistant.
Art. 9
Team leaders are in charge of who goes on
stage and who comes out so that the development of the festival will not be
disturbed.
Art. 10
The festival’s development will be made in order and harmony. Each
team, participant and supporter, which is welcomed, is required to
collaborate constructively for the good development of the festival. This
will be one of friendship and respect between all participants to the
festival (pupils, teachers, jury, staff and spectators). Disobeying this
article leads to the disqualification of the team and the interdiction to
participate in any of the future editions of this festival.
Art. 11
The festival is financed by the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth,
the National Children’s Palace and
from sponsorships.
Art. 12
1. All teams that qualify in the festival and
their coordinators will receive participation diplomas.
2. Special prizes will be granted to 20% of
the teams that participate.
